Romacelli started with a small crew, a short menu, and a few stubborn ideas about how Italian food should taste. In the early days, the dough was still being figured out and the dining room was half full, but the regulars kept coming back — first for the pizza, then for the wine, then because they remembered the servers' names. Word spread the old-fashioned way: one table telling another. Over time, the menu grew, the kitchen got quicker without rushing, and the room filled with the kind of noise that only happens when people are genuinely enjoying themselves. We are still locally owned, still hands-on, and still convinced that the best thing a restaurant can do is make someone want to return.
